The band's acclaimed self-titled debut album came two years later, topping the charts in New Zealand and pushing its fame to dizzying new heights. The nonuple platinum-selling Six60 featured the quadruple platinum-selling single "Don't Forget Your Roots", the triple platinum-selling "Only to Be" and two double platinum-selling singles “Forever” and "Rise Up 2.0.", among others.
Six60 infuses its music with traditional Māori instrumentation along with dub and reggae. In 2012, the group notched up six NZ Music Awards, including Best Group and Highest selling New Zealand Album. The Six60 EP came out in 2017, with all six songs charting in the Top Ten.
