Snail Mail formed in 2015 as the solo project of guitarist and singer Lindsay Jordan. Just one year after forming, Lindsey Jordan brought bass player Alex Russell, drummer Ray Brown and keyboard player Madeline McCormack into the band. The group is known for their classic, heavy guitar sounds and beautifully emotional lyrics. Lindsey Johnson has expressed that some of her biggest influences have been The Cranberries, Sonic Youth, Liz Phair and Paramore.

Snail Mail’s debut album Lush was released in 2018 and was nominated for Best Rock Album and Breakthrough Artist/Release at the 2019 Libera Awards. Some of their most popular songs include “Pristine,” “Heat Wave,” and “Let's Find an Out.” The single “Pristine” was an instant success and has been called an indie rock masterpiece.
