Teenage Wrist Concert Tickets
Get your Teenage Wrist tickets and see this duo live and in concert today! Teenage Wrist formed in 2014 in Los Angeles, California. In 2015, the band released their debut EP Dazed. Their first full-length album, Chrome Neon Jesus, followed in 2018. Originally, the band was a trio, with Kamtin Mohager on vocals, Marshall Gallagher on guitar, and Anthony Salazar on drums. However, in 2019, Mohager told the group he would not be back to perform for the band’s second album. This led to Gallagher taking over the role completely. While he had done some of the vocals on the first record, he had not been the frontman of the band.
Once Gallagher took it over, he knew he needed to bring in a co-writer. The band was already at work on their second album but needed help with the songwriting. This had the duo enlisting the help of Colin Brittain, who has also done writing for bands like A Day to Remember and Basement. It turns out that Brittain’s writing style merged perfectly with what Teenage Wrist was trying to accomplish with their second album and they released their second full-length album, Earth is a Black Hole, in 2021. Gallagher has stated that this second album differs greatly from the first, not just in sound, but in lyrics and background as well. Don’t miss out on your chance to see this band live and get your Teenage Wrist tickets now!
“The difference between these two albums is that our last album was more nostalgic in the sense of growing up and starting to see the world the way it was --and this album is more about attempting to push through to something new and better.” Since its inception in 2014, Teenage Wrist has seen two studio albums released, two EPs, and 7 singles. They have played alongside Thrice and bands like them. If you’re looking for a band with a new sound doing new things with their albums and lyrics, you’ll want to check these guys out!
