The Aquadolls Tickets

Rock all night long when you secure The Aquadolls tickets today with TicketSmarter. Founded in January 2012 in La Mirada, Calif., by the lead singer and songwriter Melissa Brooks, the group began recording demos and released its first album, Stoked on You, in December 2014. After a hiatus, The Aquadolls return to the music scene with drummer Jacqueline Proctor and Keilah Nina on bass. Since their return, the band has gone on to open for Weezer, Cat Power, Vivian Girls, Kate Nash, and most recently Jimmy Eat World at the Lollapalooza Aftershow series.

Swaying and melodic like most typical California surf rock riffs but with nearly poetic lyrics that tugs at your heartstrings, this alternative rock band has been gaining momentum for a reason. The Aquadolls describe their sound as "mermaid rock n roll," which is the best way to express their music style as a mythical concoction of cosmic surf-rock and power-pop ballads recorded brought to listeners straight from a self-made label.

As the sport of surfing became increasingly popular in southern California, so did the popularity of surf music. The Aquadolls' single, "Disappearing Girl," was released in 2021 after signing with the Enci Records label. Check out this Californian mermaid rock group with The Aquadolls tickets.
