The band relies heavily on their art school background both with regard to their carefully stylized image and their songwriting influences.

Despite very little mainstream attention or airplay, the band has a fiercely loyal following. With no record company support to promote their esoteric brand of art school electronic pop, in 2013 the band turned to crowdfunding to finance their recording projects. Their 2014 release Superstition was successfully launched in this way, supported by tours in North America, Brazil, Europe and the UK.
