The Bogmen Concert Tickets
See one of the hit-makers of indie rock with The Bogmen tickets. The Bogmen are a six-piece indie rock ensemble from Long Island, New York. The members are Clive Tucker, PJ O’Connor, Mark Wike, Brendan Ryan, Bill Ryan and Billy Campion. The band formed in Huntington in 1993, and despite a lack of significant mainstream success managed to garner a devoted cult following. They continue to tour widely today, in particular for charitable causes.
Campion and the Ryan brothers had known each other since the 70s when they had served together in a band called The Plummers. After a number of years playing small gigs, the trio filled out the lineup and changed their name to The Bogmen. The name is a reference to the group’s raw, primal sound.
The Bogmen gained a cult following through extensive tours across the Tri-state area, and in 1995 were signed to Arista Records. Their 1995 debut album Life Begins at 40 Million featured production by Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads fame. The group would record the critically acclaimed Closed Captioned Radio before temporarily disbanding in 1999.
