The Boneshakers Concert Tickets
Play that funky music with The Boneshakers tickets. The Boneshakers are an eclectic band that melds together traditional blues with modern rock. They first showcased their sound on their 1997 album, Book of Spells, and have continued to reunite throughout the decades with Randy Jacobs on lead guitar and Hillard "Sweet Pea" Atkinson on lead vocals.
Jacobs and Atkinson met in 1980 while working with Donald Fagenson and David Weiss on their debut album Was (Not Was). Both became popular sidemen and toured with Tears For Fears, B.B. King, Keb' Mo' and legendary performer Bob Seger. In the early 1990s, The Boneshakers commenced in Los Angeles after the band they played with went on hiatus following their European tour with the group Dire Straits. The two joined forces and further solidified their partnership while collaborating on the 1994 album Longing in Their Hearts with songstress Bonnie Raitt, who coined them "The Boneshakers."
Get into the groove with The Boneshakers tickets. In 2006, The Boneshakers reunited for a concert billed as their first live performance in San Francisco. The event documented how much has changed since 1997 with Put Some Booty On It, Vol. 2. After resurrecting themselves through music, they continued recording by joining forces with Mindi Abair on Live In Seattle (2015) and then releasing a studio album with her two years later called Eastwest Sessions.
