The Celts Concert Tickets
Come listen to music inspired by the Emerald Isle with The Celts tickets. Ric Blair was a jazz major in the Conservatory at the University of Cincinnati when he first was introduced to Irish music and it changed his life. He now is a Celtic music historian and performer of that music.
Blair handles vocals, guitar, bodhran and piano for the group. At his side is Dublin native Sinead Madden, who also sings along with playing the fiddle. The duo is complemented by world-class musicians playing Irish instruments such as uillean pipes, Irish whistles and bodhran, a distinctive framed drum. Other instruments in the ensemble include a five-string bass and banjo.
Hear the magic in the music with The Celts tickets. Musicians that have graced the stage with the Celts include Cathy Jordan, a singer from Roscommon, Ireland, Eric Rigler, whose iconic pipe playing has been featured in the movies Braveheart and Titanic and Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh, the fiddle player for Donegal.
The Celts perform around the world, having appeared at the Grand Ole Opry, the Lincoln Center and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Mainstream performers they have collaborated with include Patty Loveless, Ricky Skaggs and Vince Gill. The group has had on the PBS show Music City Roots. Their PBS pledge show, Christmas with the Celts, was aired for several years.
