The band hails from Santa Cruz, CA where they were formed in 1997 by elementary school friends Geoff Weers, Raul Bianchi and Adam Patterson. They began performing covers of surf rock songs at friend's birthday parties and family gatherings as a four-piece until they completed their lineup in 2000 with the addition of bassist Ryan DeMars. The following year, the group released their 18-song debut album, No Time to Worry, and quickly followed it up with another in 2002 titled Open Container as their popularity was quickly growing locally.
The band's popularity grew even further when their song “Sacrifice” was used in the video Guitar Hero World Tour in 2004. By 2007 they had signed to genre legends Slightly Stoopid’s label Stoopid Records to release their self-titled album which gave way to one of their biggest songs “Down Down Down”. In 2017, the group snagged the #1 Spot on Billboard’s reggae albums chart with their EP Moment.
