The Hu is made up of members Galbadrakh Tsendbaatar (Gala), Nyamjantsan Galsanjamts (Jaya), Enkhsaikhan Batjargal (Enkush), and Temuulen Naranbaatar (Temka). They use traditional Mongolian instruments in their playing, and their vocals make use of the ancient art of throat singing. The Hu lyrics are in Mongolian, and often draw on traditional Mongolian poetry or war cries. The Hu tickets, therefore, will allow you to experience Mongolian culture, as the band brings their home culture to western stages as never before. The Hu was awarded the highest state honor in Mongolia, the Order of Genghis Khan, by the president as a reward for their promotion of Mongolian culture around the world.
The Hu released their album, The Gereg, in 2019 with Eleven Seven Records, and other hit singles include "Yuve Yuve Yu,” and "Sugaan Essena," and the band now tours worldwide and is growing in popularity.
