The Nerds Concert Tickets

See the fun-loving and comedic cover band with The Nerds tickets. The Nerds are a rock band from the Jersey Shore known for their humorous renditions of pop hits and for always dressing as “nerds” onstage. The band formed in 1985, and quickly developed a following for their covers in which they change the speed or style of well-known hits. They released an album of original material, Poultry in Motion, before deciding that audiences responded better to their poking fun at established artists.

The four-piece ensemble includes drummer Jack Yocum, keyboardist Mike Spiro, singer and bassist Jim Garcia and guitarist Peter Oltmanns. Though The Nerds play weddings and corporate events, they are most known for their interactive live bar shows at venues between Connecticut and Maryland. Their most celebrated songs are their fast-paced rendition of “Mrs. Robinson” and slowed down and over-the-top interpretations of Eminem.

Despite their initial expectation that they would only play as The Nerds for less than a year, their immense popularity has seen the band continue performing for nearly two decades. The band has developed parody versions of over 400 hit pop songs. Buy The Nerds tickets here for a chance to see this talented group of pranksters perform live in concert.
