The Pharcyde consisted of Emandu Wilcox aka Imani, Traveant Hardson known as Slimkid3, Romye Robinson aka Bootie Brown and Derrick Stewart known as Fatlip.

Under the moniker The Pharcyde, they released their debut hit album in 1992 called Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, which hit gold status and was No. 75 of Billboard's Top 200, and the hit single "Passin' Me By" hit No. 1 on the US rap charts. They released their sophomore album, Labcabincalifornia, three years later to even greater success topping the charts at No. 37 with their biggest hit "Drop" topping dance, R&B and Rap charts.

They would come out with a remastered limited edition album with special guests Inspectah Deck from the Wu-Tang Clan amongst others.
