Founded in 2001 and based out of Chicago, The Seldoms has performed throughout the US while also touring abroad. They have created works on topics such as the 2008 recession, consumption and waste, and climate change to name a few. With dance at their center, they also include collaboration with practitioners from fields including theater architecture, installation, video, sound, and fashion. The aim is to create larger-than-life art forms through playful performances that explore various aspects of humanity.
