They Might Be Giants Concert Tickets

They Might Be Giants tickets are sure to please fans of the band and of alternative rock alike. The group was formed in 1982 by founding members John Flansburgh and John Linnel. In many ways, the quirky nature of the band’s signature brand of alternative rock was on display in the early years, as Flansburgh and Linnel performed alongside a drum or tape machine rather than with a full band. Their quirky, interesting song lyrics and absurdist stage props quickly earned the group a following in their base of Brooklyn, New York. In the 1990’s They Might Be Giants began performing with living band members, though Flansburgh and Linnel remain the creative minds behind the group.

Though the group cultivated a fanbase due to a constant performance schedule, many more new fans purchased They Might Be Giants tickets after their song “Boss of Me” became the theme for the hit sitcom Malcolm in the Middle.  Of course, that successful single barely points at the staggering number of songs released by the group. Between 1986 and 2018, They Might Be Giants released twenty-two studio albums, with fan-favorite tracks such as “Birdhouse in Your Soul” placing on the modern rock charts. The group has also seen success writing and releasing children’s music, as their album Here Come the 123’s won a Grammy award for “Best Musical Album for Children.” To this day, They Might Be Giants continue to write, release and perform music for fans old and new alike.
