This Santa Monica, Calif.-based label has historically focused on rock, punk rock and indie rock in particular, they have signed folk, pop, electric, and soul bands as well. The label’s first big success was signing The Get Up Kids in 1999 and producing the band's debut album Something to Write Home About. The tremendous success of this album made Vagrant Records, one of, the top independent labels until they were bought by BMG Rights Management in 2014. Many of the bands, both current and former, are scheduled to celebrate the 25th and 26th anniversary of Vagrant records founding.

Alkaline Trio released three albums with the label 2001’s From Here to Infirmary, 2005’s Crimson, and 2007’s Remains and will headline the concert along with Dashboard Confessional, Thrice, The Anniversary, and the Hot Rod Circuit. On the West Coast, the show will be held at Five Point Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif.
