The members of We Three were born into a musical family and found a love for music-making at an early age. They did not form a band, however, until after the death of their mother in the early 2010s. We Three spent the next several years refining their sound, learning to deftly swap instruments in the middle of live performances and recreate the effect of a larger ensemble.
In 2018 the band auditioned for America’s Got Talent, where their performance of their original song “Heaven’s Not Too Far Away” met with unanimous approval from the judges. They would advance all the way to the show’s semifinals. Following their appearance on the program, We Three released their self-titled debut album to much critical acclaim.
