The band is a combination of two previously established groups, Parque Touch and Peach Train, who merged after playing a gig at Austin's Beerland venue. The band has toured extensively and in 2008 signed to the UK label Full Time Hobby in order to promote their material to European audiences.
Their debut release for the label was an album titled 'Workout Holiday LP', a compilation of some re-recorded versions of earlier material plus some new songs. Their music draws from a wide range of musical influences including dub, prog rock, jazz, soul and punk and is often presented in an experimental form with unusual song structures, a heavy reliance on digital loops and a willingness to improvise and jam. It's a style that is unlikely to bring wide commercial success but which has brought the group significant critical acclaim for their groundbreaking approach to songwriting.
