MLS (Major League Soccer) Tickets
MLS Soccer Tickets
MLS tickets are a must-have for soccer fans in the United States and Canada. Major League Soccer started to play in 1996 with 10 teams playing games in NFL stadiums. D.C. United was crowned as the first MLS Cup Champion in the inaugural season. After a successful first season, attendance dwindled in the following years with different rulesets in the American game alienating traditional soccer fans. There was a turning point in the popularity of soccer in America led by the success of the US Men’s National Soccer Team in the 2002 World Cup. Traditional rules were added back into the games and teams began adopting a European style of naming by including FC, SC and United into their names.
Since this time, the league has expanded exponentially and will see 30 teams compete in the league by 2022. A majority of the teams now play in their own soccer-specific stadiums with many sold-out games occurring throughout the league. The most successful team in the league has been the LA Galaxy with five MLS Cups and four regular-season Supporters' Shields to their name. Be sure to secure your MLS tickets for all of the exciting matchups coming to a stadium near you!

MLS Dates & Schedule
The MLS schedule begins in late February or early March with regular season play that lasts through the first week of October. Each team plays a total of 34 games with half of those being played at home and the other half being away games on the road. Teams are split into an Eastern and Western conference with each team having two matches against every in-conference opponent and one match against every non-conference opponent. The team with the most points at the end of the regular season is rewarded with the Supporters’ Shield for their efforts.
The playoffs for the MLS Cup begin in mid-October after the conclusion of the regular season. The postseason will conclude with the MLS Cup Final in November where the postseason champion will be crowned. MLS teams play in over 20 cities in the United States and three cities in Canada. The United States teams are spread across the nation so fans are never too far from a team that they can root for.
MLS teams also participate in non-MLS competitions throughout the year including the US Open Cup, CONCACAF Champions League, Campeones Cup, Leagues Cup and the Canadian Championship.
