Born Steven Victor Tallarico, Tyler is of European descent and spent his early years in the Bronx, his father a classical musician and pianist who taught music at the local high school. Tyler's work outside Aerosmith has included various appearances on other artists' work including Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Santana and Pink. Released in 2016, his debut solo album, We're All Somebody From Somewhere had a distinctively country feel, influenced by his move to Nashville.
