Together Pangea first formed in 2009 in Santa Clarita, Calif., where childhood friends Danny Bengston (bass) and William Keegan (guitar, vocals) met Erik Jimenez (drums). While attending the California Institute of the Arts they began playing gigs around campus. Originally taking the name of Pangea the group was forced to change their name due to conflicts.

In 2010 the band released their debut full-length album Jelly Jam through Lost Sound Tapes. Powered by tracks like “Bad Vibrations” and “You Sleep Too Much” the album helped Together Pangea establish their footing. After the release of their sophomore album Living Dummy in 2011, the band went on tour with groups like The Black Lips, Gap Dream and Cosmonauts. In October of 2021, Together Pangea released their fifth studio album Dye.
