The storied history of Bismarck Municipal Ballpark includes games played by legends of the game. Leroy “Satchel” Paige played semi-pro baseball in Bismarck from 1933 to 1935. He helped lead his team to the 1935 semi-pro national championship. Many local high schools use the field as their home location. Bismarck High School, Century High School and Legacy High School share the ballpark during the spring and summer.
