It is home to numerous soccer clubs along with frisbee leagues such as the Madison 56ers of United Premier Soccer League, Madison Radicals of the American Ultimate Disc League, Forward Madison FC of the USL League One and Madison East High School. It was also home to the Madison Blues baseball team, along with the Madison Muskies and the Edgewood College Eagles.
Breese Stevens Field was built in 1925 and designed by the architect firm of Claude and Starck with a Mediterranean Revival style feel to it. Since then the stadium has been renovated on many occasions including when it put up stadium lights in 1930, concrete bleachers in 1934, along with renovations in the 1940s that included heating units and a new electric scoreboard. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000 spectators.
