In the years since, Calihan Hall has hosted the NBA’s Detroit Pistons, various Michigan High School Athletic Association teams and the Women’s National Invitation Tournament. Due to its ample size, the arena is also frequently used as the site of music concerts and comedy acts from performers touring the state. Calihan Hall boasts a seating capacity of just under 8,000.
