It is the home of the University of Arizona Wildcats Baseball team in the NCAA Division I Pac-12 Conference. It was also the spring training facility for the Colorado Rockies and the Cleveland Indians for many years. The field was also used in the hit movie Major League starring Charlie Sheen and some of the extras that were used were from the University of Arizona Baseball team.

Hi Corbett Field opened in 1937 and was originally called Randolph Municipal Baseball Park. In 1951 it was renamed to honor former Arizona state senator Hiram Corbett, who brought the Cleveland Indians to train there. The field has a capacity of 9,500 spectators with almost 600 of that being box seats, another 8,350 reserved seats and then 562 bleacher seats. The outfield is made of natural grass. It has been renovated throughout the years including in 1972 and three times in the 1990s.
