The L.P. Frans Stadium broke ground on September 21, 1992, and was completed just a short time later on April 16, 1993. It was built on the land that was donated by Elmer Winkler and then named after the local Pepsi-Cola Bottler that partially funded the construction of this beautiful stadium. It cost about $4.5 million to build and was designed by CBSA Architects, Inc. along with Lescher and Mahoney. The field has a surface of grass with the left and right fields measuring 330 feet while center field measures 401 feet.
