The arena was briefly the home of two minor league hockey teams, including the Jamestown Titans, who played in the North Eastern Hockey League for the 2003-04 season and the Jamestown Vikings, who were part of the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League for the 2007-08 season. From 2008 to 2011, it was also home ice for the Jamestown Jets, a junior ice hockey team.

From 2014 to 2018, the Southern Tier Xpress, which was part of the NA3HL, also used the arena as its home ice. The arena was used to host exhibition games before the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
The venue also has held numerous concerts by artists such as Clint Black, Yes, Asia and Aaron Tippin amongst others. The naming rights to the arena have been owned by Northwest since 2016. Previously, the arena was called The Jamestown Savings Bank Arena.
