The club was incorporated in 1900, governed by a 12-member board, including the Chief Justice of the Arizona Territorial Supreme Court on Webster Street. 160 acres were purchased in 1919, which would end up being developed into the club’s new home in 1921. The designer of the new course was Harry Collis with Lloyd Wright, son of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright, designed the landscape garden plans. The new site debuted on October 27, 1921.
