The Ray Fisher Stadium broke ground over a century ago in 1921 and took two years to build. It was designed by architect firms FGM Architects and Populous. It was renovated in 2008 and became a part of the University's Wilpon Baseball and Softball Complex. From 1923 to 1948, it was known as Ferry Field until it was dedicated to the team's longtime head coach Ray Fisher who coached for 37 years from 1921 to 1958.
