It is an amphitheater in Raleigh, North Carolina.  It sits across from the Raleigh Convention Center. The Raleigh Amphitheater is in agreement with Live Nation and is owned and operated by the City of Raleigh. The venue typically holds its events from April through October and has a capacity of 5,990 patrons. It is located at 500 South McDowell Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601. The venue is known for hosting various genres of music and other live entertainment such as BlackBerry Smoke, The Allman Betts Band and The Wild Feathers.

The venue's name has changed several times since it was built. Plans to change the name to the Bud Light Amphitheater didn't work out when the North Carolina Alcohol Control Board declined to grant an exception to the current rules. These rules do not allow naming rights for public facilities to be sold to alcohol manufacturers. Purchase your Red Hat Amphitheater tickets today and experience the best modern music.
