Watch America’s pastime played by future major league stars in a historical ballpark with Simmons Field tickets. The baseball ballpark Simmons Field is located in Kenosha, Wisc., and was the home field for the Kenosha Comets. The Comets compete in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, or AAGPBL, which was featured in the 1992 major motion picture A League of their Own.

The field opened in 1920 as the home for the Simmons Bedding Company baseball team. Originally, the station could accommodate 7,000. The grandstand was reconstructed in 1930. In 1947, the stadium was bought by the Kenosha Comets, who had been competing out of Lakefront Stadium since the AAGPBL had been established in 1943. The Comets competed out of Simmons Field until 1951.
