The Cardinals moved in 2005 and were replaced in 2006 by the Sussex Skyhawks, an independent team that called the stadium home until 2010. The Sussex County Community College baseball team, the Skylanders, also calls the stadium home and participated in the first baseball game played at the stadium in a doubleheader on April 17, 1994. In 1998, the stadium became the home for the New Jersey Diamonds of the Ladies Professional League, which folded after eight home games.
