A part of “Auto Row,” Neumos lives on a historic stretch of road in Seattle. Barboza is one of the showrooms housed in Neumos, which used to be known as Moe’s Mo Roc’n Cafe.
Moe’s Mo Roc’n Cafe moved into 925 East Pike Street in 1992. It was created with a vision to provide phenomenal sound quality that would attract talented artists. Moe’s also was built on hospitality for both the patrons and artists alike. The operation was very artist-centric with large greenrooms and staff that were artists themselves. Neil Young and Pearl Jam famously picked Moe’s as the start of their tour in June 1996. By 2003, the venue was relaunched under the name, Neumos.
