MLB World Series Tickets
With 2024 World Series tickets from TicketSmarter, you are guaranteed to experience a part of MLB history. The World Series serves as the final series to crown a winner in Major League Baseball. It features the winner from the National League Championship Series (NLCS) and the winner of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) in a best-of-seven series. The higher seed holds home field advantage.
The New York Yankees are one of the winningest teams in Major League Baseball having won the World Series a total of 27 times since it was first held in 1903. That includes a streak of five consecutive titles between 1949 and 1953. The St. Louis Cardinals are the only other team with double-digit wins.
How much are World Series tickets?
Because the World Series determines the MLB champion, ticket prices can cost thousands of dollars for a single game. Prices typically rise as the series reaches a conclusion, so expect Games 6 and 7 to be the most expensive.

World Series Schedule
Every year, the World Series starts at the end of October and runs through the first few days in November. This best-of-seven series starts at the higher seed’s home stadium for games 1 & 2, then moves to the opponent’s home for 3, 4, and 5 (if necessary). If both teams are still in contention, the series returns to the home of the higher seed where a champion is crowned in Game 6 or 7. Including travel time, the entire series takes about two weeks.
When do World Series tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on sale after the ALCS and NLCS rounds have concluded. There is typically a 3-4 day break between rounds leaving you plenty of time to plan your trip to the World Series.
