His sophomore album, Home, was released in 2019 and gave him a series of firsts, a No. 1 on the Bluegrass chart and a Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album. The album features “Taking Water,” which he performed live on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, his first late-night appearance. In 2021 he released his third album, Renewal, as well as the single “The Great Divide,” a collaboration with country star Luke Combs.
