Two friends and cousins, Jonathan Capeci and Joey Beretta formed the band Nightly after years of playing together in a variety of settings. They added Stephen Cunsolo and Nicholas Sainato to round out their sound, and Nightly was formed. Initially, the band worked with Interscope Records to release their first EP, Honest, in 2016. Their original music and alternative style gained attention from fans, and throughout 2016 and 2017, Nightly toured with artists like The All-American Rejects, K. Flay and Zella Day. Encouraged by their early success, Nightly set out on their first headline tour later in 2017. After signing with BMG records in 2019, Nightly began working on new music for their fans.
