They relocated to New York City in 1989 and released their first album, Hello, Betty!. Their off-Broadway show Betty Rules premiered in 2002 and ran for nine months. Since then, it has sold out three times in Washington D.C. and played in Chicago as well. They have maintained their presence on TV by being a guest artist on the shows The L Word, Remote Control, and the guest host of USA Up All Night. Betty has also contributed the theme songs to The L Word, Cover Shot, Real Sex, Fashionably Late, Ms. Adventure and Out On The Edge.
The band consists of Elizabeth Ziff (vocals, guitar), Alyson Palmer (vocals, bass), Amy Ziff (vocals, cello), Tony Salvatore (lead guitar) and Mino Gori (drums). Together, they lend their voices and talents to shaping today’s culture through their music on multiple platforms.
