The team was founded by Dan and Joe Segel in Beaverton, Ore., in 1990 as the Aloha Knights. The Knights joined the West Coast League in 2005, which is composed of teams from British Columbia, Oregon and Washington. The team relocated from Gresham to Corvallis in 2007.
