Less Than Jake Concert Tickets
Ride the ska-punk wave when you purchase Less Than Jake tickets at TicketSmarter. Less Than Jake was born in Gainesville, FL in 1992, out of a collaboration with singer/guitarist Chris DeMakes and original drummer Vinnie Fiorello. Less Than Jake got its start by self-releasing 7” records, the first of which was titled Smoke Spot and released in 1993. The first few years of the band marked an intense DIY mentality, with all 300 copies of Smoke Spot being hand-pressed by the band members themselves. The group was eventually signed to Dill Records and released its first full-length album, Pezcore, in 1995. The next year, Less Than Jake was signed to Capitol Records and released another full-length album entitled Losing Streak. It solidified the band’s trademark ska-punk sound and irreverent attitude, featuring many fast-paced hard-hitting tracks such as “Automatic” and “Johnny Quest Thinks We’re Sellouts.”
Less Than Jake tickets rose in demand as the band began to tour with other pop-punk legends including Blink-182 and Guttermouth, as well as ska bands such as The Toasters. The band continued to make appearances with well-known acts and release new music, performing at Warped Tour and accompanying Bon Jovi on the band’s 2000 tour. Less Than Jake’s largest major label success came with Anthem, released in 2003 with Warner Bros. Records. The album debuted at number 45 on the Billboard 200 chart and solidified the band’s place in the ska-punk pantheon. Over the years, Less Than Jake has toured with a who’s who list of musical acts including Fall Out Boy, Catch 22, and Dropkick Murphys, and released eight studio albums, with a promise of more on the way.
