His 2013 debut album 'Long Way Down' topped the UK Albums Chart and 'Wrong Crowd' (2016) peaked at number two. Odell has a wide range of influences that include Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Tom Waits and many others.

His 2012 single 'Another Love' went to number ten on the UK Singles Chart and 'Real Love' (2014) reached number seven. His third album 'Jubilee Road' was released in 2018 and he revealed a schedule that included appearances at venues in Switzerland, Estonia, Jordan, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, UK, the US and Canada. Odell received Songwriter of the Year at the Ivor Novello Awards in 2014. His music has been featured in TV series such as The Blacklist, Reign and NCIS. His cover of "Real Love" by the Beatles went to number seven on the Top 40 charts in the UK. Odell began the No Bad Days Tour in 2016. In 2017, he appeared at the New Fall Festival in Germany. Odell released the album 'Jubilee Road' in 2019. His fourth album 'Monsters' was released in June 2021. The album has a much darker edge to it with influences from Drake and Travis Scott.
