Death metal takes the stage with Vitriol tickets. The hard-hitting rock outfit from Portland, Oregon, surfaced in 2013 with their debut EP, Antichrist. Their aggressive sound caused them to gain over one hundred thousand plays on Spotify with songs such as “Shame and its Afterbirth” and “The Flowers of Sadism.” Since their debut, they have performed across the United States with bands such as Nihil, Face Yourself and The Zenith Passage. The act is fronted by guitarist and vocalist Kyle Rassmussen, who helped shape their sound into a distinctive brand of death, black and grind metal.
In 2017, they dropped the sophomore project, Pain Will Define Their Death, followed by the full-length album To Bathe From The Throat of Cowardice in 2019. The latter record featured songs like “Legacy of Contempt” and was noted for its “technically impressive brutalitarian songwriting” in a review in No Clean Singing. Fans see the band perform songs like “I Drown Nightly” and “Nursing from the Mother Wound” live with Vitriol tickets. In 2024, they released the record Suffer & Become and hit the road for a tour with fellow metal ensembles Goatwhore, Herakleion, Thantifaxath and more. They continue to perform live, appearing at venues such as Launchpad in Albuquerque, N.M.
