Paul Revere and The Raiders Concert Tickets
Listen to one of the pioneer bands of rock and roll with Paul Revere and The Raiders tickets. The rock band Paul Revere and the Raiders, sometimes just called the Raiders, was formed in the town of Boise, Idaho, in 1958. The group experienced success in the 1960s and 1970s. The band featured a gimmick of wearing clothes resembling American uniforms from the Revolutionary War.
The group was originally founded as the Deadbeats and were just instrumentals. In 1958, the name changed to the Raiders with organist Paul Revere and vocalist Mark Lindsay. Their first charted hit was “Like, Long Hair” in 1961 and signed to Columbia Records.
The group was featured on the 1960s in shows like Where the Action Is with Dick Clark and became nationally prominent with hits such as “Kicks” and “Hungry.” Lindsay became a teen idol and reached the Billboard Top 30 a dozen times between 1966 and 1969. Other hits by the group include the song “Indian Reservation (The Lament of the Indian Reservation Nation),” which climbed to No. 1 in both the United States and Canada. Paul Revere died in 2014 and the group is now called Paul Revere’s Raiders.
