Summa Field At Infocision Stadium broke ground on February 18, 2008, and was finished a year and a half later. It was designed by HNTB Architecture, Inc. and cost $61.6 million to build. Infocision Stadium has a capacity of 30,000 spectators with 27,000 traditional seats and 3,000 on the south end stadium's grass. The extra seating on the South end is to help accommodate the spillover from the "Roo Zoo" student section. The stadium officially opened on September 12, 2009, with a record-setting crowd of 27,881 to watch their hometown Zips play Morgan State. The Zips put up a clinic shutting out Morgan State 41-0.
